ABOUT ME
Made by Murphy was founded in 2017 after discovering a passion for creating one of a kind, bespoke pieces from vintage furniture.
​
Through hard work and determination I developed this passion into a business and it evolved into creating truly luxury items for those who either wanted to update current pieces they owned or for those searching for that special item to complete their space.
​
Last year I teamed up with one of the leading stencil companies in the UK to launch a range of stencils that I felt were missing from the market. There are 2 ranges: The Art Deco Range and the Lotus Collection-an oriental style.
​
I am currently working with some other amazing artists to bring my ideas into both Fabric and Wallpaper Design.
​
In 2019 I was awarded the title of "Spotlight Artist of the year" by Flip Runway Distribution.
​
Although the 2020 Refinishing Awards were delayed until February 2021, I have been lucky enough to be crowned "Technical Artist of the Year" and also "Creative Artist of the Year".
​
I am also lucky enough to have been crowned "Bespoke Furniture Retailer of the year both in 2021 and 2022 by Scottish Prestige Awards!
I truly love what I do and pour my all into my work. I am very grateful to have both my customers and the industry supporting me all the way.
